Halar® (ECTFE - ethylene-chlorotrifluoroethylene) is a semi-crystalline fluoropolymer produced by Solvay. It offers superior chemical and corrosion resistance, excellent electrical insulation, and ease of processing—ideal for coatings, linings, and molded parts where durability in harsh environments matters.

Halar® resists a broad pH range (1–14), including strong acids, alkalis, oxidizers, and many solvents. It’s UV and weather-resistant and shows outstanding barrier performance in corrosive or clean environments.
